Differences between the 'normal' Fullsicle harps (maple wood) vs Special Edition (cherry/walnut wood):
• Walnut and cherry are less dense woods giving them that warm and mellow sound. Walnut and cherry are very similar in sound since their densities are similar.
• Maple is more dense giving it a brighter tone.
• All of our Harpsicle® Harps have the same type of soundboard material, which is a poplar aircraft ply core and a maple veneer on top.
• The Special Editions are made of the less dense woods, have solid wood backs and the upgraded bass strings. This combination of differences really improves the sound. The wrapped bass strings give the bass a higher tension, quicker bass response and bigger bass sound.
• The other Harpsicle® Harp models have backs made of aircraft ply.
• All of the Harpsicle® Harp line have a 2 year warranty. The levers have a lifetime warranty.
• Rees levers are made of brass, making them very durable. They have nickel plating to prevent them from tarnishing.
